Edmund Mills, Ph.D. trained and worked as a scientist in renewable energy research, before leaving to respond to the climate crisis more directly by working at an enviromental nonprofit. He currently lives at a Buddhist retreat center near Santa Cruz, California, on the unceded land of the Awaswas-speaking people.

I write about the inner dimensions of climate change and ecological destruction, seeking a collective path forward that frees our hearts and equips us to respond effectively. One that both encompasses the existential implications of climate change for our lives and acts in solidarity with those most vulnerable to its destruction.
